This book would be more useful for someone trying to decide which cruise line to choose, rather than for someone who is already booked on a cruise and looking for port information. It is a lightweight port reference but an informative cruise line reference. I bought it online at the last minute, and it wasn't the reference I would have selected if I had taken more time to make a selection.
We already had our cruise booked but I needed a book with some details of the ports. This was ok, Too many chapters on the different cruise lines and not so much on what is available at each port. I have read others that have much more details for each port.
I gave this to family who were visiting Alaska. They said this book was priceless. So much good information at your fingertips.
Exactly the information I needed to make decisions about cruise line, berth and destinations suitable for us. Tell you pros and cons.
This book arrived and appears to be used. It isn't clean and the pages are all bent. I bought this as a gift and couldn't give it to the recipient.
Bought this prior to a cruise to Alaska. I was glad that it included Vancouver and Victoria since we spent a few days there as well. Great maps and color photos.
It did not mention anything about the ship that I sailed on, Crystal Symphony.
We like the presentation and data that is given in this book. Easy to follow and you can tell it is designed by people who know how to reach out to travelers. Good job.
